Technical Systems
I’ve spent more than ten years working in film production and postproduction, with a background as a DIT and colorist. Today, my focus is on the systems behind that work: storage, servers, networks and the software connecting them.
Working on productions still shapes how I approach these systems, how footage moves from set to post, how people access their work, and how the finished material is preserved. Alongside my work at Kamerawerk, I’m developing ReelMount, an independent project that grew out of my own experience with camera files and offload workflows.
Kamerawerk supports film and media productions with on-set services, postproduction and archiving. I look after the IT behind that work, from planning and building the server and storage infrastructure to running it day to day. That also includes remote editing systems, media transfers and infrastructure for external clients.
A growing part of my work is developing Bitnanny, bringing storage, archiving and workflow automation together into a connected ecosystem for professional media. It combines the infrastructure side of my work with software development and a focus on keeping media accessible and intact over time.
